Trained in jazz-pop guitar, he has developed solid teaching experience with students of all ages, whom he accompanies in both individual lessons and group workshops. His teaching style emphasizes creativity, listening, and the joy of playing, while incorporating theory and technique concepts adapted to each student's level.

In addition to his teaching activities, Étienne composes for film, television, and video games, exploring both classical orchestration and electroacoustic textures. He also arranges video game pieces for wind orchestra and accompanies artists in their projects.

Composer of more than forty albums, musician since 2005, and luthier, Sim Diamond is an extraordinary teacher thanks to his versatility, imagination, and love of music: that's why he passes on his passion to others. He teaches electric, acoustic, classical, and bass guitar, whether it's to deepen theory, improve technique, or understand composition. With hundreds of concerts performed throughout Quebec, having participated in the show “Shredders of Metal” by Banger TV in Toronto, and several collaborations with different bands, he dedicates his life to music.
